MARIA MEMET
FOUNDER

Maria’s journey began at university, where feelings of loneliness and disconnection were all too familiar. After graduating, she moved on to work for some of the UK's largest magazines, but soon found herself on autopilot, doing what she thought was expected rather than what truly made her feel alive. Feeling stuck, she sought something more meaningful and decided to pursue yoga teacher training. That decision transformed her life, leading her down a path of balance, sustainability, and well-being. Now, Maria is passionate about helping others break free from societal expectations and find a way of living that feels authentic, balanced, and fulfilling.

AUSTIN EATON
FOUNDER

Aus’s story is one of following his own path, despite the pressure to conform. He started off as a professional footballer playing for Watford FC in the UK and Corodba CF in Spain, and later went to university, after suffering reoccurring injuries. It was only during his time being injured when Aus discovered yoga that things began to change. Drawn to the physical practice and ancient traditions of balance and inner peace, Aus decided to train as a yoga teacher, where he has now achieved over 1000 hours of yoga teacher training qualifications. This journey led him to redefine success on his own terms, seeking fulfilment from within rather than what others said was “right.” Today, Aus is dedicated to guiding others on their own paths of self-discovery and sustainable wellbeing.

At aum wellbeing, all our guides are all at least 200-hour Yoga Alliance certified, bringing a rich depth of knowledge to our sessions. This extensive training in yoga is more than just a credential—it forms the core of our unique approach to well-being.

Unlike traditional wellness support that might focus solely on general techniques, our guides draw on the profound principles of yoga to enrich your experience. This foundation allows us to offer a more holistic and integrative approach to mindfulness and well-being. By incorporating the wisdom of yoga, we provide practices that not only address immediate stress but also cultivate long-term balance and resilience. Our commitment to this deep-rooted training ensures that every session is infused with authenticity, effectiveness, and a genuine connection to the ancient practices that inspire us.
